About Us
The website was founded in the beginning of 2007 by a group of English teachers with over 20 years experience, in response to a gap in the market. Most English learning websites are mainly text-based and therefore very intimidating for learners. Through video, the English Channel aims to make learning and perfecting English language skills as easy, enjoyable and effective as possible.
Based in Europe, the group brings together teaching skills from Spain, Canada, Germany, South Africa, Poland and Britain. Due to the small size of the management team, reaction and response to changing requirements are rapid and concise, while still welcoming input from other teachers all over the world.
